Aqua Aerobics:
Aqua Aerobic classes are held in main pool where the water temperature is set at a comfortable 32 degrees. Classes are run on a Tuesday and Thursday at 6:45pm throughout the year and are 45 minutes in duration.
Tuesday - Aqua Move, 6:45pm
A class that involves a large variety of aqua styles including shallow, mid and deep exercise and routines with the use of equipment such as noodles and dumbbells.
Suitable for all levels.
Thursday – Aqua Deep, 6:45pm
A deep water class that is a low impact, upper body strengthening class that has a high emphasis on cardio. The class is run in two components with equipment being used in the second part, with some mid to shallow work between the two components.
Suitable for all levels.
All classes run for 45 mins.
Per session payments of $12.00 are cash only or alternately multi visit Aqua Passes are available via cash or card.
Pool Parties
Have you thought about a Pool Party for your child’s next Birthday? Geelong Aquatic Centre, offers 2 hour, fully supervised pool parties on Saturday afternoons from 4:30-6:30pm and on Sunday mornings from 10:30-12:30pm and afternoons from 1:00-3:00pm and 3:30-5:30pm.
A qualified lifeguard will look after your children in the water, running games and activities to entertain them. Children under 5 or who cannot swim safely and independently in the water, must be accompanied by an adult. The maximum number of swimmers for one lifeguard, is twenty.
Family Swim Time
Family swim time is held on Friday nights from 5:30pm – 7.00pm during the school term and over the holiday break between 1pm – 4pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Entry is $5.00 per adult and $2.00 per child (under 12). Children under 5 must be accompanied in the water by an adult. Alternatively, you may use a family swim voucher which are issued if a student is absent due to illness, and the centre is notified at the time of the lesson. Up to 2 vouchers are issued per term.
C.P.R. Courses
C.P.R courses are offered each term and group bookings for Sporting Clubs, Corporate companies, School Teachers and Employers are welcome. Please phone our friendly reception team for more details. Costs per person, per course:
• Full – $70
• Update – $45
